TRAVERSE CITY — Justin Robert Swabon, age 29, of Traverse City, passed away suddenly on Saturday, Feb. 5, 2011. Justin was born Nov. 29, 1981, in Chicago, Ill., to his parents, Lynn McGregor and Robert Swabon. He was later joined by his dear brother, Darren. Justin's genuine and radiant smile reflected his passion for life. He grew up on the Old Mission Peninsula and spent his early life enjoying the beaches, water, forests and trails. He had a wonderfully mischievous nature and an inquisitive mind. He was warm and caring, and loved to laugh. He enjoyed sailing with his friends, campfires on the beach and special camping spots on the peninsula. He spent happy hours with his many friends enjoying the outdoors. In recent years the focus of his life became his beautiful daughter, Zoey Rose Swabon, whom he cherished and adored. He loved his time with "Zoe Zoe", and loved making her special-order breakfasts, reading to her and sharing time with her at parks and playing. He loved their tea parties and the special treats she took great pleasure in "serving" him as they played. Justin loved, and will always be loved by his mother, father and brother; grandmother Doris Swabon; aunts and uncles, Nancy and Ronald Ketko, Kathleen and Jim Rosen, and Kathleen McGregor; and his cousins, Lance, Dawn, Scott, Laura and Marc; and his beloved cousin, Jon.
