Justine Leis-Carver's Obituary
Justine Leis-Carver, passed away peacefully on Sunday, May 05, 2013 at the Grand Traverse Pavilions with her family at her side.
Justine was born on December 13, 1924 in Detroit, MI to the late Emil and Mirma (Kirk) Kraft.
Justine enjoyed many hours volunteering for the Michigan Department of Human Services, the Northwestern Michigan College, and various athletic functions. Most importantly Justine loved to dance.
Surviving Justine are her children, Sharon (Ron) Zulkiewski, Sheryl (Walt) Briggs, Greg (Monica) Leis, Shelly Deemer, grandchildren Vince (Emily) Opper, Michael Opper, Brian (Kim) Leis, Brett Leis, Nick, Jesse, Dillon, and Dane Deemer, a sister Connie (Jordan) Holthouse, a brother Emerson (Ida) Kraft, four great grandchildren and nieces and nephews.
Justine is preceded in death by her grandson Dr. Ronald Zulkiewski.
Private family services will take place at a later time. Memorial contributions may be directed to "Elm" at the Grand Traverse Pavilions, 1000 Pavilions Circle, Traverse City, MI 49684.
