Kaia Gene Nelson's Obituary
Baby Kaia Gene Nelson of Traverse City, MI came into the world on March 14, 2016 at Munson Medical Center.
She was the beautiful daughter of Julia Elyse (Perkins) and Zachary Charles Nelson. Granddaughter of Jon and Mary Beth Perkins (N. Manchester, IN) and Donn & Susan Nelson (Hastings, MN). Great-Granddaughter of Dixie Perkins of Payson, AZ. Niece of Evan Perkins, Chris and Jennifer Nelson (Eva & Grace), and Galen & Katie Nelson (Chloe & Lauren). And of course sister to the family pet, Michi Gander Nelson.
Baby Kaia graced Julia and Zack with her presence for an hour and a half of time and in that time she was baptized and blessed by her Mom and Dad. While it was a short time together, it was a peaceful, love filled time for the family.
A graveside service for Kaia will take place at Oaklawn Cemetery in North Manchester, Indiana on Friday August 5, 2016 at 5:30pm.
Memorial gifts in honor of Kaia may be sent to ELCA Living Water Ministries at 7898 West Stony Lake Rd. New Era, MI 49446.
