Karen McIntosh Chalker, 56, of Troy passed away July 30, 2014 at her vacation home in Kingsley. Karen was born on August 8, 1957 in Detroit to the late James Boyd and Jessie Mae (Lamb) McIntosh. On September 2, 1994, Karen married Paul David Chalker in Troy. In her spare time she enjoyed puzzles, planting flowers and spending time in northern Michigan. Karen is survived by her husband Paul of Troy, step-son Brian Chalker of Clarkston, step-daughter Carrie (Terry) McKernan of Roseville, sisters Betty (Chuck) Chalker of Troy and Debbie (Glen) Gadille of Roseville. A memorial service is being planned for a later date. Memorial contributions in memory of Karen may be directed to the American Cancer Society. The family is being served by Reynolds Jonkhoff Funeral Home and Cremation Services.
