TRAVERSE CITY — Kathleen Threse Boyle, 82, of Traverse City, formerly of St. Clair Shores, died Sept. 30, 2010, at Munson Medical Center. She resided at Bay Ridge Assisted Living Center. Kitty was a homemaker and raised six children. She was married for 55 years to John E. Boyle Jr., who preceded her in death in 2006. She earned a bachelor's degree in Business from the University of Detroit. Kitty loved the "tall trees" and nature of Northern Michigan. Surviving Kitty are her children, John (Mary Jo) Boyle III, Cindy (Robert) Martin, Robert Boyle, Nancy (Christopher) Felcman, David (Wendy) Boyle and Daniel (Nancy) Boyle. She was the loving grandmother of Michael, Stephanie, Elizabeth, Lisa, Megan, Rebecca, Sarah, Jennifer, Michelle, Kathryn, Kate, Erin and Dylan; and loving great-grandmother of Kaitlyn and Lillian.A special thank you is extended to all the care givers at Bay Ridge Assisted Living Center and Munson Medical Center, especially the orthopedic floor. Visitation will be Tuesday, Oct. 5, 2010, at Kaul Funeral Home in St. Clair Shores. A funeral Mass will be held Wednesday, Oct. 6, 2010, at 10 a.m., at St. Joan of Arc Catholic Church in St. Clair Shores, where she will lie instate from 9:30 until 10 a.m.
