Kathryn Aileen Rose of Traverse City, Michigan, formerly of the Upper Peninsula and Oakland County area, age 82, passed away on Thursday, November 24, 2022. She was born to Karl and Julie Hamina on April 14, 1940, in Houghton, Michigan.

Kathy worked as paralegal with the Oakland County Circuit Court for 35 years before retiring. In her free time Kathy enjoyed tennis and skiing, reading, and working on crossword puzzles. What she loved the most, however, was spending time with her family—her love for them was immeasurable.

Kathy is survived by her son Brad Fletcher and grandson Nico Fletcher.

She was preceded in death by her parents; and brothers Karl, Jr. and Bruce Hamina.

As Kathy wished, simple cremation has taken place, and her family will bring her back home to the Copper County for a private celebration.
