Kay E. Cooper, 78, of Traverse City, passed away June 5, 2016, and is now resting with the angels.
She was born on July 11, 1937 to the late Edwin Cooper and Bertha (Husby) Bannen.
Kay was a native to Traverse City and was known for her many years at Potter's and Tom's as the cake decorator.
The family has honored Kay's wishes for cremation. Kay's final resting place will be at Maple Grove Keswick Cemetery in Leelanau County. Her faithful companion Beau will be laid to rest with her. The family will have a private family gathering at a later date.
