Cedar - Kay Jean Konieczka, 79, of Cedar passed away November 20, 2016 at Munson Medical Center.
Kay was born on August 28, 1937 in Saginaw to the late Earl and Helen (Rousseau) Falkenhagen.
On December 26, 1955 Kay married John Konieczka in Saginaw.
Kay is survived by her husband of 61 years John, her children Gregory (Paula) of Traverse City, Cathy (Edward) Griffin of Traverse City, Beth (Bob) Hausler of Saginaw, Bradley (Jackie) of Peoria, AZ, and Joseph (Christi) of Mt. Pleasant, 18 grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren and sister Joyce Spears.
Kay was preceded in death by her sons John and Brian.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday, November 25, 2016 at 1:00 pm at St. Michaels in Suttons Bay with visitation beginning at 12 Noon.
Graveside services will follow at St. Marys of Lake Leelanau.
Memorial contributions may be directed to St. Mary's of Lake Leelanau.
