Traverse City-Keith James Bobier, 44, beloved son, brother, father and friend of Traverse City, died Tuesday evening, June 5, 2012, at Munson Medical Center surround by his loving and supportive family.
Born September 25, 1967, in Detroit, he was the son of Geoffrey Charles and Mary Ann (Perczak) Bobier.
Keith was a gifted car salesman who also liked working odd jobs and doing outdoor work.
As his hobbies he enjoyed bird watching, gardening, music, hunting, fishing and was well known and often sought out for his excellent fishing skills. He even caught two fish simultaneously on one lure.
Keith will be fondly remembered for his love and pride he had for his daughters and for the many accomplishments of his siblings.
His great sense of humor coupled with his strong ability and desire to help others made him a likable person to be around.
He is survived by his family; mother and step father, Mary Ann and Allan Porter of Traverse City; daughters, Bethany and Sarah Bobier; siblings, Charles, Cynthia , Shane , David and Alex Bobier; along with many extended family members and dear and sincere friends.
Keith was preceded in death by his father, Geoffrey Bobier.
A Funeral Mass will be offered at St. Francis Catholic Church on Monday morning, June 11, 2012 at 11:00 A.M. with visitation one hour prior to the service. Rev. Tony Cureton serving as the celebrant.
Cremation has taken place.
