Keith E. Gnirs

Mr. Keith E. Gnirs of Interlochen, passed away peacefully at the age of 80 with his loving wife Jo by his side.
Keith was born in Frankfort, Mi. On March 3, 1921 to Ludwig and Agnes(Mathieson) Gnirs. Keith was a 12 year Air Force Vet and longtime member of the American Legion Post 35 and member of Redeemer Lutheran Church.
Keith also worked for 20 years for John Hopkins Insurance Co.

Keith had a great love for fishing and would spend and spare time that he had trying to catch the big one.

Keith is survived by his wife of 34 years Joyce (Risdon-St. Marie) Gnirs, son Jason(Kimberly) St. Marie of Holly, Mi. and daughter Tina Gnirs of Oregon.
Granddaughters Rileigh Rayann and Jenna Maliah St. Marie. He was preceded in death by his parents and grandson Richard Lopez III.

A visitation will be held on Monday August 5, 2013 at Redeemer Lutheran Church in Interlochen from 4-7PM. A memorial service will take place on Tuesday at the church at 12 noon. Military Honors presented by the Cherryland VFW post 2780.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Redeemer Lutheran Church Sunday School Kids Program.
