Keith Francis Poirier

Keith Francis Poirier, 86, of Traverse City passed away Wednesday, June 30, 2021 at the Grand Traverse Pavilions.

Keith was born on November 23, 1934 in Negaunee, MI to the late John and Laila (Johnson) Poirier. In 1952 he graduated from Grand Rapids, Godwin Heights High School in the Class of 1952. He married Gloria Clifford on July 25, 1958 in Grand Rapids, MI.

Honorably, Keith served our Country in the United States Air Force during the Korean War as a B-36 Mechanic.

After his time in the service he worked in the manufacturing sector, mainly as a supervisor.

In his spare time he enjoyed fishing, golfing, playing cards, especially Cribbage and Euchre. The outdoors also brought great joy to Keith. He loved nature and to go on walks.

Surviving Keith are his brother, Ken (Jo) Poirier of Roscommon, his children, Bryan (Lori) Poirier of Traverse City, Jeanine Sepanik of Grandville, MI, six grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren and many other loving family members and friends.

Keith is preceded in death by his parents, beloved wife Gloria and son-in-law Frank Sepanik.

Graveside services will be held at 11am on Thursday, July 8, 2021 at the Grand Traverse Memorial Gardens with Full Military Honors.
