Kelley Elizabeth Bowman

Kelley Elizabeth Bowman, 59, of Traverse City, passed away peacefully on December
22, 2024, surrounded by loved ones. Born on April 8, 1965, in Holland, Michigan, Kelley
was raised by Carl and Anne Clark, who instilled in her a deep passion for life and a
boundless joy for making others happy.
Known for her lively personality and unique ability to make everyone feel special, Kelley
was a vibrant presence in the lives of all who knew her. She was devoted to her family,
always placing them at the heart of her world. Kelley met the love of her life, Richard
"Warren" Bowman, through a mutual friend, sparking a beautiful, upbeat journey
together. Their union was blessed with four wonderful children: Alex, Morgan, Margaret,
and Avery.
Kelley cherished the little things that brought joy to life, from pedicures, to gardening
and growing her own herbs, to holiday marathons of Harry Potter and Twilight films.
Renowned by those in her life as "The World's Best Cook," she had an extraordinary gift
for turning any recipe into a masterpiece, often surpassing the original.
Her warmth and energy extended into her career as a bartender in Northern Michigan,
where she excelled at taking care of people and creating lasting friendships. Kelley's
natural ability to brighten any room left a lasting impression on everyone she met.
Kelley is preceded in death by Scott Clark, Carl Clark, and Anne Clark. She is survived
by her beloved husband, Warren, her four children, her siblings Jeff, Cindi, and Peter,
and a host of family and friends who will forever cherish her memory.
A celebration of life service will be held on Monday, December 30, 2024, at Reynolds
Jonkhoff Funeral Home. Visitation will begin at 1:00 p.m., followed by the service at 2:00
p.m. A reception will take place at Harrington's at 4pm.
