MAPLE CITY — Kenneth C. Allen, 58, of Maple City, passed away peacefully in his sleep Wednesday, Aug. 25, 2010. He is now rejoicing with his heavenly father and seeing his earthly father, who passed away before him. Ken worked as a plant manager at Numatics and other manufacturing facilities. He enjoyed spending time with his family, playing board games and fishing, and was an accomplished oil painter. Ken is survived by his mother, Betty Allen, of Maple City; and his siblings, Thomas Allen (Connie), of Howell, Linda Smith (Larry), of Traverse City, James Allen, of Traverse City, Eric Allen (Simply), of Mayville, Julie Dunaske (Jon), of Traverse City, and Jeffery Allen (Nancy), of Swartz Creek. Ken will be dearly missed by many nieces and nephews and his special friend, Rose.There will be a private family memorial service. Memorial contributions can be directed to the American Cancer Society. The family is being served by Reynolds-Jonkhoff Funeral Home.
