TRAVERSE CITY – Kenneth J. Conroy, age 74, passed away Friday April 15, 2016, at the Munson Medical Center.
Ken was born February 23, 1942, to Patrick and Sylvia (Denoyer) Conroy in Traverse City, MI. He grew up in Traverse City and attended St. Francis High School. After high school, Ken enlisted in the United States Marines. Following his time in the Marines, Ken moved to Denver, CO, where he received his associate's degree. After receiving his associate's degree he became a Property Manager at an Apartment Complex in Denver.
Ken was an extremely talented artist and enjoyed creating pieces including Cowboys and Indians. He also enjoyed history and learning about the Civil War, as well as World War II.
Ken is survived by his sisters, Donna (Greg) Stroh, Mary Conroy, Sharon Littke, Patty Bonnell, and Cindy Mantz; and brother, Larry Conroy. He is also survived by his special friends Barb (Eric) of Denver, CO, and Mike of Traverse City, MI.
Ken is preceded in death by his parents, Patrick and Sylvia; sisters, Doris, and Eva; and brothers, George, and Ronnie.
