Kenneth John Flath's Obituary
Kenneth John Flath, 76, of Traverse City, Michigan passed away on Tuesday, May 21, 2024 at his home. Kenneth was born on August 20, 1947 in Escanaba, Michigan to the late John and Sigrid (Ranta) Flath.
He proudly served his country in the U.S. Navy. Kenneth was a high school special education teacher for many years in Utica. He loved his job and the kids he worked with. He liked to golf, hike, and ski. Kenneth was a long-time member of the Traverse City Optimist Club.
Kenneth is survived by two sisters; Sandra (John) Vanlerberghe and Kathleen (Del) Hurt. He was preceded in death by his parents, a brother, Robert Flath and a sister, Nancy Stannard.
In accordance with Kenneth's wishes cremation has taken place and a family service will be held at a later date.
Memorial donations can be made to the Traverse City Optimist Club.
