Kenneth "Ken" Howard Brehmer, 75, of Traverse City, passed away on December 12, 2024. Ken was born in Detroit, MI to Thomas and Helen Mary Brehmer, the third of four children. He attended the University of Detroit for high school and college, as well as graduate school where he earned his MBA. After graduating, he worked for Henry Ford hospital where he met his future wife, Margarita Kare. He later worked for the State of Michigan in Mental Health Administration as a Reimbursement Officer and at Northern Lakes Community Mental Health Services as a Contract Manager. He and Marge raised their family in Royal Oak before eventually moving to Traverse City.

He is survived by his wife, Marge, and their children Mercedes (Curt) of Portland, OR and Jake (Jules) of Albion, MI; his grandchildren Reine, Gabby, Joselyn and Collin; and his sister, Peg, as well as nieces, nephews and many friends.

He is predeceased by his parents, his brother Norman and sister Kathleen.
