Kim Marie Oatley, 55, of Traverse City, Michigan passed away on Saturday, July 22, 2023 at Munson Medical Center. Kim was born on March 25, 1968 in Traverse City to Richard and Helen (Bohlk) Oatley.

Kim had a great passion for sports throughout her life, both playing and watching. She especially loved all of the Detroit teams and favored the Michigan State Spartans. She was an avid reader, an amazing cook, and baker. Among her other interests: she loved the outdoors, hiking and exploring, visiting the casino, and needlepoint. Above all, spending time with her family was the greatest joy of her life.

Kim is survived by her loving son, Anthony "Tony" Wayne (Natasha) Sheldon, her parents; Richard and Helen Oatley, and her two grandchildren; Sophia Ann Sheldon and Elijah Wayne Sheldon. Also surviving are her three brothers; Roger Oatley, Douglas Oatley and Kevin (Johnna) Oatley and many nieces and nephews.

A private family service honoring Kim will be held.
