Traverse City-Kristina Rosa Walter, 31, of Traverse City died unexpectedly from natural causes, Tuesday morning, May 8, 2012, at her home.
Born May 23, 1980, in Traverse City, she was the daughter of John R. II, and Nora J. (Poling) Walter.
Her positive bubbling personality and generous spirit coupled with her ability to make others laugh made her an enjoyable and a likable person to be around. She will be fondly remembered by her neighbors as a dear friend and a great helper with their yard work. Kristina also received great pleasure in planning and tending to her flower gardens.
She was a wonderful loving mother to her precious children, who she relished caring for and playing with.
In addition to her parents, she is also survived by her love and constant companion, Randy J. Woodworth of Traverse City; children, Annastasia Lyn Walter and Brian John Walter both of Traverse City; brothers,
John (Carleen) Walter III of Kalkaska and Matthew P. Walter of Traverse City; paternal grandmother, June Rademacker of Traverse City; maternal grandparents, Ellen and Amil Strang of Thompsonville; nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.
She was preceded in death by a nephew, John R. Walter, IV.
Friends may call at the Reynolds-Jonkhoff Funeral Home on Sunday, May 13, 2012 from 2:00 P.M. to 4:00 P.M., where the Walter family will receive friends.
Funeral Services will be held at the Reynolds-Jonkhoff Funeral Home on Monday, May 14, 2012 at 1:00 P.M. with visitation one hour prior to the service.
Burial will follow at Greenbrier Cemetery in Lake Ann.
