Larry E. Meredith

Larry E. Meredith died on March 21, 2026 at 5 AM surrounded by his loving family.

Larry was born October 4, 1937 in Bad Axe, Michigan to Roland and Barbara Meredith

Larry was a retired military man with 22 years of service as well as a retiree from Detroit Edison (DTE.)

Larry loved being with his family and was very proud of all of them. He also enjoyed traveling. Larry loved the challenge of building and fixing things and designing them to work better than ever.

He was survived by his wife, Eileen, and three of his four children, Cheryl Meredith, Barbara (Dan) Bostick and Michael (Rebecca) Meredith, and five grandchildren Drew Mayo, Zachary Mayo, Wyatt Bostick, Allana Bostick, and Lawrence Meredith.

Larry was predeceased by his son Ronald, his parents and three siblings.

Viewing will be held on Saturday, March 28, 2026, one hour before the 11 AM Funeral Mass at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Traverse City. A luncheon will follow then burial in Oakwood Catholic Cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be directed to the Immaculate Conception Food Pantry or St. Jude's.
