Laurence "Larry" A. Miller, 77, of Traverse City passed away on Thursday, February 13, 2014 at his home. Larry was born on April 7, 1936 in Detroit, Michigan to the late William and Katherine (Campbell) Miller. He was married to his wife of 52 years, Isobel Gray on April 27, 1962 . Larry proudly served his country in the U.S. Army. He was a home delivery milkman in the Detroit area until 1970. After moving north to Interlochen, Larry became a locksmith/carpenter and was employed by Interlochen Center for the Arts until his retirement.

Larry is survived by his wife, Isobel, two sons; Todd Miller, Adam (Sandy) Miller, a daughter, Heather (Ed) Young, five grandchildren; Tia and Tori Young, Brandon and Abby Miller and Brittany Hancock & three great-grandchildren; Khai, Kennadie and Delaney.

Larry was preceded in death by a sister, Betty Huntley.

In accordance with Larry's wishes cremation has taken place. No services are planned.
