Linda Faye (Magwood) Christine, age 74, walked into the arms of her Savior, Jesus Christ, on July 6, 2026.
Linda was born on April 23, 1952, in Paso Robles, California, to Earle James and Phyllis Gertrude (Dyke) Magwood. She married the love of her life, E. Wayne Christine, on August 29, 1971, in Sonora, California, beginning a devoted marriage that spanned more than five decades.
A woman of deep and abiding faith, Linda lived her love for God each day through kindness, compassion, and service to others. Her relationship with the Lord was the foundation of her life and a source of strength to all who knew her.
Music brought Linda great joy throughout her life. She played both the piano and clarinet and faithfully shared her talents by singing in church choirs wherever she and Wayne called home. She also found happiness in tending her garden and preserving its harvest through canning, taking great pride in providing for and sharing with those she loved.
Above all else, Linda cherished her family. She was a loving wife, devoted mother, proud grandmother and great-grandmother whose unwavering love, encouragement, and gentle spirit touched generations. Her greatest joy was spending time with her family and being present for life's everyday moments and special celebrations alike.
Linda is lovingly survived by her husband, E. Wayne Christine; her two daughters, Nicole (Christine) Oneal and Mandy (Christine) Schroeder; her brother, John R. Magwood; four beloved grandchildren; and two treasured great-grandchildren. She leaves behind a legacy of faith, love, and selfless devotion that will continue to inspire all who were blessed to know her.
Family and friends are invited to gather at Harvest Church on Saturday, August 1, 2026, from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. A memorial service, officiated by Pastor Doug Long, will begin at 11:00 a.m.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Linda's family to help offset medical expenses. The family sincerely appreciates your kindness, prayers, and support during this time. Thank you and God bless you.
"Well done, good and faithful servant... Enter into the joy of your Lord." — Matthew 25:23
