Linda Sue (McWethy) Hendrickson, 59, of Traverse City, passed away Oct. 12, 2019. She was born June 25, 1960 in Traverse City to parents, David and Agnes (Kolarik) McWethy.

Linda graduated St. Francis' class of 1978 and went on to receive an associate degree in accounting from Northwestern Michigan College. On Sept. 18, 1981 Linda married her beloved husband, Eric Henderson, at St. Francis of Assisi Parish of Traverse City. Linda went on to work as an accountant at the former Busy Bee Lumberyard and at Shugart Builders.

For many years Linda devoted her time and love to Boy Scout Troop 37 as assistant scoutmaster. She and Eric, as well as their son, Sean, shared priceless memories during their scouting days. Linda loved to knit and crochet. She was outgoing, up for whatever, whenever. Linda had a lucky streak as well, winning several contests from an all-expenses paid trip to Disneyland and concert backstage passes.

Linda is survived by her husband, Eric Hendrickson; son, Sean (Shannah); mother, Agnes McWethy; grandchildren, Arianna Jo, Ayden and Addisyn Hendrickson; brothers, David J., Steven (Nancy), Donald (Barbara) and Alan (Denise) McWethy; sister, Diane McWethy; sister-in-law, Kris Hendrickson; brother-in law, Scott (Linda) Hendrickson; and many nieces, nephews and extended family.

Linda was predeceased by her father, David McWethy. A Mass of Christian Burial will take place Friday, Oct. 18, at 11 a.m., at St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church.

Visitation will be Thursday, Oct. 18, from 5 to 7 p.m., at Reynolds-Jonkhoff Funeral Home. Holy rosary will be prayed at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. Visitation will also take place one hour prior to Mass on Friday.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to The Father Fred Foundation, St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church or Trails-End Boy Scouts of America.
