Linda C. Hooker

Linda Cheryl Hooker, 78, of Traverse City, Michigan passed away peacefully on Sunday, February 8, 2026, at her home. Linda was born on June 29, 1947, in Long Beach, New Jersey, to the late Nathan and Maye (Guthrie) Schoenfeld.

She married the love of her life, Michael Hooker on July 19, 1964, in the U.S. Naval Base Chapel in Mayport, Florida. Before her retirement, Linda had been employed as both a Product Manager and Financial Manager for many years. She was a member of Christ the King Catholic Church.

Linda is survived by her loving husband, Michael Hooker and two sons and a daughter; Michael Hooker, Patrick Hooker and Pamela Hooker. Also surviving are two brothers-in-law and a sister-in-law; Rick (Kathleen) Hooker, Ted (Mary) Hooker and Kathy (Richard) Teasdale.

Linda was preceded in death by a son, Brian Hooker.

A Funeral Mass honoring Linda will take place at 12:15 p.m., with visiting starting at 11:00 a.m., on Thursday, March 5, 2026, at Christ the King Catholic Church, 3801 Shore Rd., Williamsburg, Michigan 49690. Rev. Christopher Jarvis will officiate.
