Traverse City - Linda J. Pitcher, 70 years old, a kind hearted independent woman, of Traverse City passed away December 30, 2020 at Munson Hospice House.
Linda was born on May 13, 1950 in Cheboygan, MI to the late William and Nellie (Wood) Pitcher.
Linda earned her Associate Degree in Nursing from Northwestern Michigan College and then embarked on her 43 year career as an LPN in the Traverse City area. She retired from the Grand Traverse Pavilions in 2014.
Linda was a member of St. Francis Catholic Church. In her free time she enjoyed reading and crocheting. Linda was a very detailed person and could tell you the entire Bata Bus Schedule. Her kitties were very important to her and she cherished them.
Linda is survived by her sisters Molly (Jerry) Place, Carol (Hal) Deal, Brenda Lau and Jennifer Heinfling.
Linda will be buried at Oakwood Cemetery.
Memorial contributions in her honor may be directed to Cherryland Humane Society or Best Friends Animal Society.
