Lois Louise Beeman, 85, of Grawn, passed away February 27, 2015, at Culver Meadows.

Lois was born on July 22, 1929, in Traverse City, to the late Louis Murray and Larena Faye (Russell) Bennett.

On December 7, 1947, Lois married Gerald Beeman in Traverse City.

Lois was employed as a secretary with various companies including the Traverse City State Hospital, the National Music Camp, the Teachers Retirement Fund, the Michigan Employment Office and Beeman's Excavating.

In her spare time, Lois enjoyed knitting, sewing, and doing arts and crafts. She was a member of the Sweet Adelines and enjoyed square dancing with the Buttons and Bows Club. Lois and Jerry were members of Central United Methodist Church. They also enjoyed spending the winters in Ft. Myers, FL.

Lois was preceded in death by her parents and brother George L. Bennett.

Lois is survived by her husband of 67 years, Jerry, and their children Gary (Donna) Beeman and Rodney (Christine) Beeman, grandchildren Tricia (Scott) Leesch, Todd (Jaime) Beeman, Robin (Matt) Keller, Jason (Michele) Beeman, Travis (Sara) Beeman, Walter Beeman, Rodney (Cathy) Beeman and great-grandchildren, Abigail Beeman, Lauren Beeman, Brock Beeman, Ridge Beeman, Trent Beeman, Kyle Leesch, True Beeman, Olivia Beeman, Ava Keller, Brianna Leesch, Logan Keller, Gauge Beeman, Gracie Beeman, Wyatt Beeman, Tessa Beeman and Courtney Beeman.

A memorial service will be held on Friday, May 29, 2015 at 2:00 pm at the Reynolds Jonkhoff Funeral Home.

Lois will be interred at Maple Grove Cemetery in Grawn.
