Obituary

Lorraine Ann Hamilton, 69, of Kingsley passed away on Saturday, October 10, 2020 at her home with her beloved husband and son at her side.

Lorraine was born on June 21, 1951 to the late Alfred P. and Virginia (Lake) Baynton. She married the love of her life Michael Dale Hamilton on November 27, 1970 at St. Mary's of Hannah. Together they lovingly raised two wonderful boys Scott and Jason.

Lorraine retired her working career at Munson Medical Center after 21 years in the Medical Records Department.

Lorraine loved the simple things in life. She enjoyed tending to her beautiful flowers, feeding the birds and gardening. She adored her grandchildren and loved spoiling them. She cherished the times that she was able to spend with her family. She had a caring heart and never forgot about anyone. Lorraine always had a special place in heart and love for animals. During her retirement she came to really enjoy her "dinner date nights" with her husband. She also enjoyed volunteering her time at St. Mary's of Hannah. Lorraine was a wonderful wife, mother, and grandmother.

Surviving Lorraine is her husband Mike of almost 50 years, daughter-in-law Sara Bartosiewicz-Hamilton of McPherson, Kansas, son Jason (Melanie) Hamilton of Kingsley, grandchildren Leslie, Payton, and Alyssa; siblings, Barbara (Wayne) Radcliffe of Traverse City, John (Jean) Baynton of Buckley, twin sister Elaine (Mike) Mezzano of Higgins Lake, and Gary (Shannon) Baynton of Buckley; her sister-in-law Marie Baynton of Grawn; and many nieces, nephews and cousins.

Lorraine is preceded in death by her parents; son Scott Hamilton; grandson Brennan Hamilton; brothers Bill and Perry Baynton; nephew Roger Baynton.

A Mass of Christian Burial will take Place at St. Mary's of Hannah on Friday, October 16 at 10am. Visitation will be held from 9-10am at the church. Burial will be in St. Mary's Catholic Cemetery.
