Lorraine Ann Neddo

Lorraine Ann Neddo, 83, of Maple City passed away peacefully on Wednesday, January 20, 2016 at Munson Medical Center. Lorraine was born on August 25, 1932 in Maple City to the late Ignace and Rose (Peplinski) Shupiery. She was married to Theodore Wesley Neddo. He preceded her in death on January 5, 2006. She was a member of St. Rita – St. Joseph Catholic Church. She enjoyed polka dancing, going for walks, flowers, baking bread and doing crafts. Lorraine was employed by Munson Hospital as a ward maid and later a baby formula maker. After her children were born she became a full-time homemaker.

Lorraine is survived by three sons and a daughter; David (Cindy) Neddo of Maple City, Brian Neddo of Traverse City, Evon (Pat) Butrick of Maple City and Dale (Deborah) Neddo of Maple City, grandchildren; Chad (Liz) Neddo, Michael Neddo, Chelsey Neddo, Teddy (Kylene) Butrick, Ricky Butrick, Samantha Neddo, Andrew Neddo and Aaron Neddo, and step-grandchildren; Bill Haven and Monica Richards. Also surviving are great-grandchildren; Isaac, Adalee and Omeera Butrick and Cecily Neddo.

She was also preceded in death by two brothers; Ronald Shupiery and Samuel Shupiery.

The family would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to Linda Neddo and the staff of Ritter's Assisted Living Center for their loving care of Lorraine.

Friends are welcome to visit with Lorraine's family on Sunday, January 24, 2016 from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. with a Rosary at 6:00 p.m. at the Reynolds-Jonkhoff Funeral Home, 305 Sixth St., Traverse City, MI 49684.

Mass of Christian Burial will take place at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, January 25, 2016 at St. Rita Catholic – St. Joseph Catholic Church, 8707 S. Hill Rd., Maple City, MI 49664, with visiting one hour prior. Rev. Fr. Zeljko Gurberovic will officiate.
