Houghton Lake - Lorraine V. Palm, 64, of Houghton Lake passed away October 24, 2015 at Munson Medical Center with her family by her side.

Lorraine was born on September 11, 1951 in Detroit to the late Elmer John and Dorothy Louise (Malzahn) Prebee.

Lorraine was an entrepreneur and ran a restaurant and tavern in Detroit, MI. In her spare time she enjoyed socializing with friends, spending time outdoors and gardening.

Lorraine is survived by her brother Dennis (Charlene) Prebee of Elk Rapids, sister-in-law Joan Prebee, 9 nieces and nephews, significant other Tom Wittershiem, and many other friends and family.

A memorial service celebrating Lorraine's life will be held at Central United Methodist Church on Friday, November 6, 2015 at 4:00 pm in the chapel.

Memorial contributions in memory of Lorraine may be directed to Alcoholics Anonymous.
