TRAVERSE CITY — Lottie Ann Hornyak, 90, of Traverse City, passed away peacefully Tuesday, Oct. 26, 2010, at Munson Medical Center.Lottie was born March 12, 1920, in Sterling to the late Stanley and Anna (Lis) Koryciak. She married Clarence Demo in 1936 in Standish. After his passing she married James Hornyak on June 24, 1989. They were married by Fr. Edwin Frederick at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church.Lottie loved to garden and feed the birds. In her earlier years she enjoyed cake decorating for the family bakeries.Surviving Lottie is her husband James; her children, Janet (Bob) Kerlin, of Traverse City, and Paul (Cheryl) Demo, of North Carolina; many grandchildren and great-grandchildren; and other relatives and friends.Lottie was preceded in death by her first husband, Clarence, and her sons, Stanley and Bobby.A private family memorial service will be held at a later time. Inurnment will take place in Standish at a later date.Memorial contributions may be directed to the Fr. Fred Foundation or Munson Hospice.The family is being served by the Reynolds-Jonkhoff Funeral Home.
