Lucas "Luke" Mark Peters, 54, of Kingsley passed away on Friday, February 19, 2016 at Munson Medical Center.

Luke was born on April 6, 1961 in Three Rivers to LaMar and Nancy (Anderson) Peters. He married Sheryl Reamer on March 8, 1980 in Traverse City.

Luke worked for many years at Lark Lawn and Garden. In his spare time he loved to golf and hunt. Most importantly Luke loved being a grandpa. His family especially his grandchildren and granddogs meant the world to him. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

Luke is survived by his wife, Sheryl of 36 years, beloved dog Josie, mother Nancy Peters, children, Lucas (Natasha) Peters, Amber (Mike) West, Jason (Holly) Peters, grandchildren, Kayson, Ava, LaMar, Lily, Sophia, granddogs, Harley and Marley, siblings, Lenise (Al) Howard, Leonard (Sheri) Peters and many nieces nephews and cousins.

Luke is preceded in death by his dad LaMar and nephew Zach Peters.

A memorial service will be held for Luke at 11am on Monday, February 22, 2016 at the Bible Baptist Church with Pastor Joel Brown officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be directed to Luke's Wings, 1054 31st St NW, Washington, DC 20007 or Bible Baptist Church.
