Lynn Aurilio, 80, of Traverse City, passed away peacefully on September 5, 2024. Born on February 28, 1944, in Bridgeport, Connecticut, Lynn's life was marked by her devotion to helping others and her strong connections to friends she considered family.
Lynn worked as a social worker with Disability Determination Services for the State of Michigan, always ready to lend a hand to those in need. Her love for her community was boundless, and her volunteer work for Catholic Human Services and local Democratic conventions was an extension of her generosity and care. She was especially passionate about ensuring the well-being of children, earning the title of "Foster Grandmother" at CSS and receiving a certificate of appreciation for her unwavering dedication.
Known for her sass, strength, and independence, Lynn had a heart of gold. She was generous to all who knew her and made a lasting impact on those around her.
