TRAVERSE CITY – Lynne Nancy Weidenbach, age 74, passed away on Wednesday, September 12, 2018 at Munson Medical Center in the loving care of her family.
Lynne was born in Detroit, MI on June 19, 1944 to Alan Ernest and Dorothy Ann Weidenbach. Lynne was raised in the Dearborn Heights and graduated from Taylor Center High School. Following graduation Lynne attended Eastern Michigan University where she received her bachelor's degree and on to receive a Masters in Social Work. Lynne went on to work as a protective service worker for child abuse and neglect up until her retirement.
Following her retirement, Lynne called Marquette, MI home before ultimately relocating to Lawrenceville, GA. Lynne was an avid gardener and "experimental chef". Her true passion was spending time with her two grandchildren, Ian and Darby.
Lynne is survived by her children; Elizabeth Voss, and Dylan McKee, grandchildren; Ian McKee and Darby Voss, sisters; Donna Hogle and Dale Henegar. Additionally, Lynne is survived by many nieces and nephews.
Private family services will be held at a later date. Memorial contributions may be directed to the Gwinnett County Animal Shelter, 884 Winder Hwy, Lawrenceville, GA 30045.
