Madeleine M. Cherry, 94 of Maple City passed away March 9, 2018.

Madeleine was born on December 22, 1923 in Grand Rapids to the late Paul and Mary (Genson) Wilbur.

Madeleine was a book keeper. In her spare time she enjoyed sewing, gardening and exploring the back woods of Upper Michigan. She also liked to help her husband with their exotic bird farm. She will be greatly missed by her friends and family.

Madeleine is survived by her husband Edward, children and step children Jean (Howard) Dederich, Marilyn (Claton) Beckwith, Jerry (Ann) McCoy), Deborah McLeish, Dennis (Jean) Cherry, Steven (Barbara) Cherry, Dawn (Garm) Helms, Sharon Cahill, Linda (Rob) Henry, Irma (Rick) Kaminski and Melissa (Mike) Scanlon; 33 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild.

Interment will take place at St. Rita's cemetery in Maple City.
