TRAVERSE CITY — Manfred Willy Grunwaldt Sr., 75, of Traverse City, went to be with his wife of 43 years, Marga, and his brother, Willy, who both preceded him in death, on Monday, Jan. 31, 2011, at Munson Medical Center in Traverse City.Manfred was born Friday, Nov. 8, 1935, in Berlin, Germany, and moved to this country in 1975. Manfred was employed as a mechanic at the former Chet Swanson car dealership prior to his retirement. He enjoyed collecting stamps, was a train enthusiast and collector, as well as being an amateur radio and Ham radio operator.Manfred entered into marriage with the former Marga Ingeborg Schilde on Saturday, May 27, 1967, in Jackson.Manfed is survived by his sons, Manfred W.
