Marcella Vera Roush, 88, of Traverse City passed away on May 30, 2023 after a very brief bout with cancer.

Marcella was born on December 31, 1934 in Black River Falls, WI to the late Lester and Vera (Heath) Moldenhauer.

On November 3, 1951, she married Louie Roush. Together the two shared nearly 72 years of fun, friendship, and love. In their younger years they loved to dance, especially polka and could often be found at the American Legion or the Hayloft.

Marcella was a school bus driver and also worked in dispatch. She retired after 33 years with TCAPS. She will be remembered as a wonderful wife, mom, grandma, great grandma and friend to many.

Marcella was preceded in death by her husband Lewis Roush, mother Vera Moldenhauer and father Lester Moldenhauer and two sisters Beverly Stroh , brother in law Steve Stroh and Peggy Bundrow (Steve Bundrow).

She is survived by her children Shelley Roush, Susan (Winn) Powers, Steven Roush, Sally Dewitt and Stuart (Colette) Roush; 12 grandchildren, 23 great grandchildren; 6 great great grandchildren; and many extended family members and friends

Interment will take place at Grand Traverse Memorial Gardens on August 10, 2023 at 1:00 pm.
