Marcia Lee Lautner, long time resident of Long Lake passed away peacefully with her family by her side on November 23, 2022 on her 77th birthday.

Marcia was born on November 23, 1945 to the late Ernest and Betty (Riggs) Gutzka.

Marcia graduated from Traverse City High School in 1963 and married her high school sweet heart, Ronald Eugene Lautner on September 25, 1965.

Over the years Marcia worked at Empire Bank which later became Huntington Bank in the Mortgage Department.

Marcia was an avid golfer and bowler. She enjoyed hunting with her husband Ron and tending to her garden. She was a devoted member of Long Lake Friends Church, the Long Lake Association and the Interlochen Eagles. In her later years she enjoyed feeding and watching the birds; quilting, sewing and knitting and playing cards. Above all else, she cherished her granddaughters and loved spending time with them.

Marcia was preceded in death by her husband Ron; their infant son Jeffery; and her sisters Dar and Penny.

Marcia is survived by her children Karen and Scott; granddaughters Macey, Hannah and Brooke; great granddaughter Alice; and brothers Sonny (Carol) Gutzka and Ernest (Vivian) Gutzka.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, November 30, 2022 from 5 to 7 pm at the Reynolds Jonkhoff Funeral Home.

The memorial service will be held on Thursday, December 1, 2022 at 11 am, also at the funeral home with visitation beginning one hour prior.

Interment will take place in 2023 at Grand Traverse Memorial Gardens.
