Marcia Ann Nill, 71, of Williamsburg went to be with her Lord and Savior on Tuesday, March 19, 2013 after a courageous battle with cancer at Munson Hospice House.
She is survived by her husband of 28 years, Robert L. Nill, children Alan and Sharon Supp, Cheryl and Aaron Molhoek, eight grandchildren, sister Kathy Winarski, brother Ed Evans, and four nieces. She was preceded in death by her parents, Ralph and Ruth Evans and brother Robert Evans.
Marcia loved people and eagerly shared that love with all around her. She shared her time and talent generously, volunteering for a multitude of charities over the years, most recently Love Inc. Traverse City and the Acme Christian Thrift Store. She loved knitting, sewing and making quilts, especially as gifts for her grandchildren. She was an avid gardener and loved her time on Drummond Island with her husband and grandchildren.
Visitation for Marcia will take place on Friday, March 22, 2013 at the Reynolds Jonkhoff Funeral Home 4-7pm.
Memorial services will be conducted at 11am on Saturday, March 23, at the Presbyterian Church, Traverse City. The family will receive friends at the church for an hour prior to the service.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be directed to the Acme Christian Thrift Store.
