Margaret "Peggy" Alice Gregory

TRAVERSE CITY – Margaret "Peggy" Alice Gregory, 89, of Traverse City passed away on Sunday, January 17, 2016 at Munson Hospice House. Margaret was born August 13, 1926 in Amherstburg, Ontario, Canada to the late Lloyd and Winifred (Kemp) Pettypiece. She was married to the late Lawrence Gregory. Peggy was a very talented artist sharing her art over the years and painting many commissioned portraits and landscapes in various media.

Peggy is survived by a sister, Kathleen Dowswell and family; a sister-in-law, Judith Pettypiece and family; a great-niece, Janet May (John) Stretlien and a niece, Phyllis Evans. Also surviving are many loving nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by a brother, Robert Pettypiece.

A memorial gathering will be held on Saturday, January 23, 2016 from 12:00 noon to 2:00 p.m. at the Elks Lodge #323, 625 Bay Street, Traverse City, MI 49684.
