Margaret Christine Lindley, age 73, of Traverse City, was called to her Heavenly Home on Friday, August 2, 2024.

Margaret was a very special woman to her family. They admired how she always put the needs of others before her own. She was a member of Bayview Wesleyan Church and also attended TC Journey Church. She worked as a home health aide and lived in the Traverse City area for 49 years. Her favorite holiday was Christmas, she loved yellow flowers of any kind, and she also enjoyed being a member of TOPS.

She is survived by her husband of 44 years this September, Robert "Bob" Lindley; daughters: Monica Ali, Kim Goss; adopted grandkids: Lloyd, Lewie, Roger; brother: George Glenn; sister: Dillie Zelafro; sister-in-law: Janice (Joseph) Payton; brother-in-law: Richard (Carolyn) Lindley; niece: Jennifer Holiday, and nephew: Joseph Zelafro Jr.

Margaret was preceded in death by her parents: Vester & Dorothy (Cunningham) Glenn; and her brother-in-law: Joseph Zelafro.

A time of visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. – 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, August 8, 2024 in the tent of Reynolds-Jonkhoff Funeral Home, 305 Sixth St., Traverse City. A funeral service, officiated by Pastor Jack Steenbergh, will immediately follow at 11:00 a.m., also in the tent. A graveside service will take place at Grand Traverse Memorial Gardens immediately following the funeral.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be given to TC Journey Church or Hospice of Michigan.
