Obituary

Margaret Ann Noveskey, passed away on November 27, 2022, after an extended battle with complications from several strokes. She was 81. Born March 3, 1941, in Detroit to Acel and Lillian Rymal, she grew up on her grandmother's farm in Hudson and on McKenzie St. in Adrian, MI. It is here she learned her lifelong love of cooking and collecting recipes. Her Christmas cookies and beef and noodles were legendary. Luckily, in her later years she taught Tom to cook many of the family favorites.

Margaret Ann married Tom on July 21, 1962. They were so happy to celebrate 60 years of trials and triumphs together! They raised their family in Tecumseh and Margaret Ann was a Bluebird Mom, a Cub Scout Mom and a Sunday school teacher at the Presbyterian Church. She recently said her kids were "her greatest accomplishment."

She will be missed terribly by her daughter, Ann, and husband Steve Luck, and by her son, Bob, and wife Monique, as well as grandchildren Madison and Jonathon Kraats, Cody Herman, and great grandchildren Payton and Amyela. We were so proud of Mom this year when she got strong enough to stand and dance with Bob at his wedding. She and her daughter-in-law formed a very special bond because Monique was able to care for her during her last few weeks.

Margaret Ann is also survived by her brother, Steve Rymal and sister, Sherryl Applin, as well as Tom's family; Bill and Linda Noveskey, Mike and Caroline Noveskey, Pete and Eve Noveskey, and sister-in-law Charlene Noveskey, and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, Tom's parents, and brother-in-law Jim Noveskey.

After retiring from bookkeeping, medical billing, and grocery stores, Margaret Ann and Tom moved north to Interlochen, Michigan. She loved her home in the woods because of all the animals that would visit. She cared about every deer, squirrel, chipmunk, and turkey like they were her own pets.

In accordance with Margaret Ann's wishes, cremation has taken place. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date with family and friends.

Those planning an expression of sympathy may wish to consider a memorial donation to ProMedica Hospice, 4000 Eastern Sky Dr. STE 2, Traverse City, MI 49684 or Cherryland Humane Society, 1750 Ahlberg Rd., Traverse City, MI 49696.
