Margery "Midge" A. Kerr, 83 of Traverse City passed away Tuesday, June 09, 2015 at her home surrounded by her loving family.

Midge was born on January 7, 1932 in Grand Rapids to the late Theodore and Velma (Sayles) Wright. She married Dr. Lornie G. Kerr on August 16, 1952. Together they lovingly raised four wonderful children,

Midge was a successful real-estate agent for many years working for Real Estate One achieving in 1980 realtor of the year. She then earned her broker's license and went on to open her own firm. She was a member of the Presbyterian Church. In her spare time, her interests included music, genealogy, crafts, cooking, golfing, traveling and spending time with friends and family.

Surviving Midge is her husband, Lornie, of 62 dedicated years, children, Patti (Dr. Gary) Lingaur, Katherine (John) Runft, Michael (JoAnne) Kerr, Daniel (Cheryl) Kerr, 9 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren and many other loving family members and friends.

Visitation for Midge will be held on Thursday, June 11, from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m., at the Reynolds-Jonkhoff Funeral Home. Funeral services will take place at 11 a.m., with visitation from 10 a.m., Friday, June 12, at the Presbyterian Church, Traverse City.
