Margie E. Lott

Margie E. Lott, 88, of Traverse City formerly of East Lansing passed away on Friday, July 10, 2015 at Munson Medical Center. Margie was born on August 5, 1926 in Lansing, Michigan to the late Melvin and Ruth (Smith) Moone. She was married to V.A. George Lott on September 6, 1947. He predeceased her on April 16, 2015. Margie graduated from East Lansing High School and later earned a Bachelor's Degree in Home Economics from MSU. She was a member of First Congregational Church in Traverse City. Margie volunteered with the League of Women Voters as well as the Food Bank of Lansing.

Margie is survived by her two sons; Randy (Charlotte) Lott and Jim (Lisa Klofkorn) Lott, a daughter-in-law, Jolanta Lott, seven grandchildren; Jeremiah, Hannah, Nathan, Miriam, Andrew, Olivia and Miranda and two great-grandsons; Alex and Isaac. Also surviving are two sisters; Dorothy Bowerbank and Maxine Hannert.

She was preceded in death by a son, Kerry Lott.

In accordance with Margie's wishes cremation has taken place.
