Marian Lucille Ingersoll, 92, of Traverse City passed away Sunday October 14, 2018.
Marian was born April 9, 1926 in Bowling Green, Ohio, She married the late Robert R.L. "Bob" Ingersoll in Flint, MI on June 26, 1948 and spent 66 years together raising family and seeing the world together.
Marian loved to garage sale and find treasures to refinish. Also, in her spare time she enjoyed volunteering for the American Legion Auxiliary of Traverse City and the American Cancer Society in Leelanau County.
Many joyous family memories were held at the family lake house on Lake Leelanau. Marian was a wonderful mother and will be sadly missed.
Marian is survived by her son Rick of Hilton Head Island. SC, her daughter Karen Aldridge of Drummond Island, MI and six grandchildren.
She was proceeded in death by her parents, daughter Linda Cebula and grandson Timothy Ingersoll.
In lieu of flowers the family requests any memorial contributions be made in her name to Munson Hospice House.
The family is extremely grateful for the loving and tender care provided by all the staff of Orchard Creek Assisted Living and Supportive Care and Hospice of Michigan.
