Obituary

Marian M. "Tink" Chase
Died September 12, 2015

Marian Chase, 82, died peacefully in her sleep Saturday morning, September 12, 2015 after an extended illness.

Born November 9, 1932, in Traverse City, she was the youngest daughter of Harry and Bertha (Chilson) Perry. In childhood, her brothers gave Marian a nickname; that nickname stuck, and for over 70 years most of her friends just called her "Tink".

Tink was a homemaker extraordinaire and co-founder of Federico's Jewelry Store in Traverse City.

Tink enjoyed attending and serving her church, dancing, entertaining her many good friends, enjoying the beach, doting on her canine companions, hosting her children's friends, and most of all, snuggling babies. In her later years, she enjoyed travel to wonderful locations but she truly cherished Traverse City above them all.

She is survived by her children, Michael (Vicki) Wildman of Suttons Bay, Elizabeth Wildman of Traverse City, Richard (Demetria) Wildman of Seaford, VA, George Wildman of Traverse City; sister Louise (Perry) Mackenzie of Chicago, and brother Hank Perry of Manistee; grandchildren Kristin (Wildman) Bissell, Kelly (Wildman) Muck, Reade Wildman, Tiffany Elston and Vicki Alligood; five great grandchildren; many nieces and nephews; and loyal companion Faith, her Boston Terrier.

Marian was preceded in death by her parents; first husband Richard "Nick" Wildman, second husband Anthony Federico, and third husband Dr. Robert Chase; sister Evelyn (Kelly) Emling, and brother George Perry/

She will be remembered at the Presbyterian Church on Westminster Road at 1:00 pm on Thursday, September 17, 2015 followed by a luncheon at her home.

Tink will rest in eternity alongside several family members in Oakwood Cemetery.

Her family is thankful for the staff at Traverse Victoria Senior Living for their patient and caring support.

In remembrance, please make a memorial contribution to the Parkinson's Foundation, American Diabetes Association, or Alzheimer's Association.
