Marilyn E. Cronmiller, 84, of Traverse City, died Thursday, October 11, 2012 at Munson Medical Center in Traverse City.

Marilyn was born on Thursday, May 17, 1928 to the late Harry and Ruth (Near) Sorenson in Shelby.

On Saturday, August 17, 1957, she married Charles Cronmiller who preceded her in death on October 28, 1980.

For 25 years, Marilyn was the manager of the Traverse Bay Woolen Company store in Interlochen. She enjoyed doing needle work, reading and animals

Marilyn is survived by her sister, Leatrice Bohacz of Antioch, IL; nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews and her very good friends, Elaine and Dick Flees of Cedar and their sons. In addition to her husband, Marilyn was preceded in death by her parents and her brother, Harry Al Sorenson.

At her request, no service will be held. Cremation has taken place and interment will be in Grand Traverse Memorial Gardens.
