Marion Andrew Yahr, age 92, of Traverse City, went to meet his Lord and Savior on Friday, October 31, 2025.
Marion was a member of Grawn Bible Methodist Church. A veteran of the United States Navy, we thank him for his service to our country.
Marion was preceded in death by his son, Clayton Yahr; grandson, David Yahr; parents, Clayton & Jean (Anderson) Yahr; and siblings, Lucille Dunham, Gerald Yahr, Ronald Yahr, and Karen Yahr.
He will be missed by his wife of 70 years, June Yahr; sons, Philip (Sharon) Yahr, John (Linda) Yahr; and grandchildren, Lisa, Amber, Joni, Kristy, and Bradley.
A Funeral Service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, November 7, 2025 at Reynolds-Jonkhoff Funeral Home, 305 Sixth St. Traverse City. Family will welcome visitors an hour prior to the service, starting at 1:00 p.m. Private family interment will be held at Linwood Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be given to Grawn Bible Methodist Church.
