Marjorie Bolton, 99 years young passed away August 17, 2023 at the Grand Traverse Pavilions.
She was born to the late Raymond and Lila (Burnett) Peck in Pontiac, MI on October 17, 1923.
In seventh grade she found her forever Derek Bolton and after graduating from Birmingham High School in 1941, they married in 1945 after he returned from WWII. The had two daughters; Jill and Gail.
Education was very important to Marjorie's father and she went on to receive a bachelor's in education. She taught elementary school for a number of years. She valued family, a good book and an outfit that made her feel pretty -
She is survived by her two daughters, Jill (Bob) Strong and Gail (Doug) Pond, 5 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren.
No services are planned at this time. Per the wishes of Marjorie, cremation has taken place.
