Marjorie Marshall, age 72, loving mother, sister, aunt, Nana and friend to many, passed away suddenly in her home on April 16th. Margi grew up in suburban Detroit with her parents, Al & Mary Ford and her sister Mary Anne (Ford) Herring. Her life and needs were simple. Her greatest and countless joys were times shared with her son Brad and his twin girls, Mackenzie and Madison. Her thoughtfulness was a part of her everyday life; sending little packages to her family with messages of love inside. She had a heart of gold. She will be missed dearly by those who have survived her, namely her son, grandchildren, sister, and brother-in-law, along with her nieces, nephews and many friends.

Margi was employed by the Grand Traverse Resort where so many enjoyed her sense of humor and joyfulness.

Arrangements have been handled by Jonkhoff funeral home in Traverse City. A memorial service is planned on the beach sometime in July.
