TRAVERSE CITY — Mark Bonter, 60, of Traverse City, passed away Aug. 2, 2010, at Munson Medical Center.Mark was born Dec. 20, 1949, in Petoskey, to Gerald and Joyce (Coffman) Bonter. He is survived and treasured by his mother, Joyce (Coffman) Lazarus; his wife of 42 years, Pam Bonter; his daughters, Lesley (Dean) Klein of St. Johns and their children Paul, Justin, and Hayden; Nikki Bonter of East Lansing and her children, Malan and Joshua; and Freya (Jeremy) Bradford of Traverse City and their child Henry; brother, Mike Lazarus of Traverse City; brother, Kim; and sisters, Cathy, Debbie and Becky.There was no end to Mark's enthusiasm for life, no end to his dreams and interests. In the past few years, his spirit was alive with the undying quest to learn the purpose of life. Those of us who know and love him are certain he has made the journey to the source of the answers and is at peace at last.
