Mary Louise Beasley, 96, of Traverse City, passed into eternal life on Friday May 6, 2016. Her devotion to her family and her firm belief in God supported Mary in her journey on earth.
Mary is survived by her two daughters; Joan Elspeth Beasley and Jane Elizabeth (Michael) Dowdney, her three granddaughters; Michelle, Kimberly and Rachel, 7 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her husband George Maitland Beasley, her son Mark Douglas Beasley, her sisters; Kathryn Sexton, Georgianna McFerran, Alice Funk and Jane Alden.
A memorial service for Mary will be held at the Reynolds Jonkhoff Funeral Home on Wednesday May 25, 2016 at 11:00am.
Mary's final resting place will be at the Leelanau Township Cemetery in Northport with her husband and her son.
